Becoming Honestly with Honor

When the first Lockdown came and I watched every holiday booking slip away (thankfully to the following year…but still) I realised one important thing. This thing would pass. People would travel again. Hell, people would be desperate to travel again and get away from their own 4 walls. And most importantly I wanted to be the one place they thought of when they hovered over that search for a holiday button.

So what did I do? I kept showing up and do you know what? It worked. I managed to get all the weeks rebooked mostly from my Instagram followers (there were repeats and recommendations too) but even my previous bookings had 85% been from Instagram.

I happened to be on a Business Mindset challenge and was wondering what the hell to do when people started saying, ‘Why Instagram Coach of course’ and it took me about an hour of chatting to get over my Imposter Syndrome to think ‘Yes of course! This is exactly what I should be doing’ and then came the start of my evolution from Maison de la Roche to Honestly with Honor.

I started doing Live Instagram interviews with women who inspired me. Women over the age of 50, 60 and even 70 were creating new businesses and thriving. Women who had overcome adversity, women who were just amazing. Every woman has a story even if they don’t think they do and I reached out to people who were prepared to discuss those taboo subjects from money to death, from sexual abuse to suicide. Many of the women were offering a service and I think it’s important to share our network of knowledge and more importantly to support one and other in business as well as in life. So if you have a service or a product and a story then I’d love to hear from you and help you get seen out there too.

My evolution has continued and my current challenge is to bring all of you amazing women together in my Magical Midlife Membership and in addition to offering you fabulous holidays for you and your families or you and your girlfriends, I am now offering Magical Midlife Retreats.

What’s after this? Who knows. Life has a curious way of throwing curve balls and they serve to help us to explore different avenues…. Watch this space!
